The Foundation of Expertise:
Jed’s mastery of the real estate market is rooted in a deep family legacy of legal and civic service. His grandfather, Frank Hagan, served as the Clerk of the Circuit Court in Montgomery County before practicing commercial real estate law, while his grandmother served as the Clerk of the Juvenile Court. Raised in this environment of legal rigor, Jed spent his formative years working in his grandfather’s law practice, conducting due diligence for complex commercial deals. This early immersion provided him with a forensic understanding of contracts and property rights that few residential agents possess.   

Jed is a graduate of the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia, where he earned degrees in Finance, Economics, and Information Systems. (He also attended McGill University and the University of Maryland before transferring). Before returning to the US residential market, Jed founded an IT consulting firm in Sydney, advising commercial real estate conglomerates on systems integration. This intersection of economics and technology allows Jed to offer clients a sophisticated analysis of market trends, moving beyond simple pricing to asset valuation.
